About Natalia Molano, LMHC

Ms. Molano provides individual and group therapy to children, teens and adults.

Ms. Molano was born and raised in South Florida and knew from an early age she wanted to help people. She followed this passion and became a preschool teacher before graduating from Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While pursuing her degree, Ms. Molano completed her practicum and internship with Evolve Learning Community providing individual and group therapy to children, teens and their families. Her teaching experience using constructivism or a hands-on approach to learning, and her clinical skills, made her a perfect fit for Evolve’s experiential learning community and she has been a part of the team ever since.

Ms. Molano serves as Clinical Coordinator of the academic program at Evolve Learning Community, a role which allows her to oversee the development and implementation of social emotional learning and therapeutic support as part of the learning environment. She loves that she gets to help staff and interns create engaging, hands-on lessons that take all learners' needs and strengths into account.

Her Approach To Therapy

In her therapy sessions, Ms. Molano employs a strengths-based, trauma-focused approach that incorporates evidence-based interventions, such as CBT and DBT. Ms. Molano utilizes play and art in her work with clients and primarily works with children and teens who have emotional regulation challenges, lagging social skills, anxiety, grief, loss and trauma.

She believes that each person has unique strengths that can be utilized to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Ms. Molano also values collaboration with other professionals, such as physicians and educators, to provide comprehensive care for her clients.
She facilitates a Girls’ Empowerment group and Maximize Your Mind groups as well as leads the Intensive Therapeutic Summer Program.
