With a compassionate and trauma informed approach, Laila works with clients to help them develop coping strategies that foster resilience and emotional well-being.
Laila employs an eclectic approach to counseling including Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and other Strength-Based techniques to help her clients identify and achieve their goals in therapy. She is also passionate about the healing power of creative expression and integrates art into her practice using art as a tool for communication, self-exploration, and emotional processing. Art can be useful to clients who struggle with verbally expressing themselves and those who enjoy creative arts. She believes that every individual has a unique path to healing and she strives to establish a safe and supportive environment where clients can express themselves freely and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.
